GENERAL REGULATIONS FOR APPLICATION CRITERIA

 

1. SELECTION CRITERIA AND PROCESS:

  • Students are required to apply online at ABU website.
  • Weighted score for selection will be evaluated as: 50% of English proficiency +  50% of CGPA.
  • After initial nomination by International Programs Office, your application will be send to the host university.
  • You will receive an official letter of acceptance from the university and student visa application.
  • After acceptance letter start your visa process immediattely at consulates in Istabul/ Ankara
  • Selected students must have to submit an approved and signed copy of Learning Agreement For Studies to both ABU and host institute.
  • Students who are selected for Erasmus + Study Mobility program will not be allowed to register courses at ABU for that semester.
  • Courses that are passed by stdents in host institute will only be transferred to ABU.
  • Erasmus students are supposed to take 30 ECTS and responsible to pass at least 20 ECTS for each semester.
  • Disabled, martyr / veteran children will be given priority.

2. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Documents to be submitted by the student upon return:

        Changes in Learning agreement

         Transcript of Record issued by host institution

         Letter of Confirmition

         Final Report

         Passport Copy with “Departure(Exit from the country)” and “Arrival (Enter to the country back)” stamps.

3. FINANCIAL SUPPORT

  •  European Commision may offer financial support to selected students. The amount of the monthly grant are determined each year by the National Agency and announced in the Application Guide.
  •  Students are required to sign “Erasmus Grant Agreement” to receive their Erasmus grant.
  • The students who benefit from the EU grant will provide the office with their Euro bank account (Denizbank) details with an official document and following this, a Grant  Agreement is formed and signed by both ABU and the student.
  • Upon the completion of signatures, 80% of the total grant is transferred to the student’s account. 20% is paid after the student fulfill all the requirements, if not, remainig amout will not be transferred. Payments will be made in Euros.
  • Paid financial support in not meant to be reimburse, it is for financial assistance for mobility.
  • The real amount is calculated according to documents that students submit to International Programes Office wat the end of their program.
  • Actual Erasmus Study Mobility period will be calculated according to “Letter of Confirmation”  -  document supposed to be prepared by host institution and entry – exit stamps on the student passport.
  • Students who received their Erasmus grant but not able to attend or complete the program for any reason are required to refund grant within 15 days.

4. INSURANCE

The participants are required to have Health Insurance.

5. VISA

Selected students are required to carryout visa process at their own in embassy/ consulate of relevant country.

IPO will provide “Consulate/ Grant Letter” to be use for visa application, letter will contain terms for Erasmus Program.

6. ACCOMODATION

ABU will have no responsibility for accommodation of selected students. Instead host institute can and will helps in this regard.

STUDENT TRAINING (INTERNSHIP) MOBILITY
